Questions
We see adults (18 and older) who are physically located in Virginia at the time of their appointment.
Our focus is psychiatric medication management and metabolic care. Many patients benefit from therapy alongside medication, and we're happy to coordinate with your therapist or help you find one.
Initial evaluations are longer so we can fully understand your history and goals. Follow-up visits are shorter and scheduled based on your treatment plan, typically more often when starting or adjusting medications.
ADHD care includes a thorough evaluation. Some ADHD medications are controlled substances, and prescribing follows current federal and Virginia regulations, which may include additional monitoring or requirements. We'll discuss all options, including non-stimulant treatments, during your visit.
Care may include a review of your medications, sleep, and mood as they relate to weight; lab monitoring; lifestyle guidance; and medication options when appropriate. We pay particular attention to weight changes associated with psychiatric medications.
Please contact our office or check the patient portal for current insurance and self-pay information. We're happy to help you understand your options before your first visit.
